Nestled on 300 acres of a working sheep farm in Narrawa NSW, Moorabinda Guest House is a haven for the charm and simplicity of farm life with all of the luxuries of the Guest House.
An original 4 bedroom homestead recently revived by owner Simon Kensit and his partner, Interior Designer, Penny Sheehan with the introduction of bold colour, pattern and antiques. Boasting large windows and doors to celebrate the panoramic farmland and curated garden views.
The outlook over the farm is complemented by the natural and thoughtfully considered finishes to create a peaceful and quiet place to enjoy with an abundance of cosy corners to choose from.
The perfect sanctuary for relaxing.
Moorabinda Guest House is located only a half hour drive from its closest town centre Crookwell, 3 hours drive from Sydney or a comfortable 2 hour drive from Canberra.
Specific directions to the Guest House will be supplied on making your reservation as part of the booking process.
Centred in the Upper Lachlan Shire, the Guest House is an easy drive to many of the local attractions for those wanting to explore. Some of our favourites include;
The Laggan Pantry, nestled in the gardens of the old police barracks circa 1837. A must do dining experience just over half an hours drive from the Guest House.
We recommend a beautiful scenic drive to Taralga and booking in for lunch or dinner at The Argyle Inn, the oldest still trading hotel in Taralga and a hatted restaurant with a locally sourced seasonal menu and a historical facade that takes you back in time.
